Colourful anything.

Tuesday, April 26, 2011

Assalamualaikum

Today's topic ; Haha kawan aku yang kecik tu, Fariesha bercita cita nak color rambut dia jadi merah. Maka kami pun pergilah bersiar siar mencari color rambut, and aku volunteer nak color kan rambut dia sebab aku minat benda benda camni. Yes, aku tau aku brutal tapi aku cintakan cosmetic dan hairstyle. Cewahh, haha. And one more, aku rasa macam berdosa je color kan rambut dia, sebab macam aku menyumbang ke arah yang berdosa, tapi, em em, tapi tu lah. Hehe.

Maka aku pun memulakan kerjaya aku sebagai hairstylist. First time, excited untuk mengetahui hasilnya. Aku pun pasrah jugak, terus pegi tido. Harapan aku menjadi hairstylist musnah!

Keesokan harinya, dengan jayanya aku memonteng kelas. Aku bajet aku sorang je yang ponteng. Mata memang gatal gila kot bila bangun. Aku pun tak paham dengan diri sendiri. Mata aku gatal dah dekat seminggu. Nak kata pasal contact lens, bila pakai contact lens tak gatal pun. Bila malam je mulalah dia mengundang. Pastu last week aku tak pakai pun contact lens. Konon nak avoid lah. Tapi gatal jugak. Aku sangat musykil. Pastu pulak aku sakit tekak gila babi. Memang tak boleh tido la. Pastu mata gatal, pastu kena tutup mata sambil mengamuk sorang sorang atas katil. Haha. Sorry Miza, katil bunyi bunyi. :P And one more thing, mata aku makin lama makin kecik sebab macam bengkak -.- tak cun dah aku. Ciss.

Nak dijadikan cerita *macam baru nak start story padahal dah berjela jela dah* aku pun bercinta la dengan Facebook. Tetiba Miera keluar. Aikk, budak ni tak gi class jugak? Pastu dia masuk bilik sambung tidur. Lama sikit, Sha pulak dengan muka mamai keluar tanya aku, "Kau tak pegi class ke?" Haha sudaaaaaah, aku bajet aku sorang memonteng, tengok tengok semua pun memonteng. Sohaiii~

Pastu petang tadi kitorang pun pegi Plaza Idaman dekat dekat dengan Ong Tai Kim untuk survey Salon. Pastu rupanya, rambut Sha tu taknak lekat warna merah sebab dulu dia pernah warnakan rambut beliau hitam. So kena bleach dulu rambut dia baru boleh letak warna lain. Grr, aku lempang kang. Maka akhirnya, rambut beliau sudah berjaya menjadi warna merah *tapi aku rasa macam oren* Ah lantaklah rambut dia bukan rambut aku. Haha. Dan takdelah aku rasa aku ni hairstylist yang failed. Agaga. Yeah man.

Yayyyy ! Dah habis cerita :D

Kalau hidup takde matlamat baik kau gantung diri je.

Monday, April 25, 2011

Assalamualaikum

Korang kan dalam hidup kena ada aim. Kalau takde aim, korang akan easily distracted by the factors surrounding you. *okay english aku broken. kesah pulak.* Okay, aku bagi contoh.

Contoh ;

Si pelajar dengan riang ria menyambung pelajaran di tahap yang lebih tinggi selepas SPM. Tapi dia takde pulak nak letak aim, lepas dapat diploma nak buat apa. Yang dia tau, orang lain sambung belajar, why not me? Aku pun pandai jugak. Pandai lagi dari orang lain tau. Maka dia pun memulakan hidupnya sebagai seorang mahasiswa. Lama kelamaan, dia dah pandai dah gi lepak, merendek, merayau rayau dan sebagainya yang dia tak pernah buat time sekolah dulu. Yelah dah besar kan. Dunia pun makin luas. At last, apa yang jadi? Ha, kau dah seronok buat benda lain selain dari belajar, memang kau sangkut ah. Last last diploma degree ke mana, kau ke laut. Duit dah membazir sesia je.

Maka, apakah conclusionnya?
Conclusionnya, hidup kena ada aim. Kau kena berusaha towards the aim. Kalau takde aim, kau nak menuju ke mana? Ikut suka kau? Go with the flow bak kata omputih? Hotak mu.

Tapi apa pun, matlamat hidup yang paling penting adalah untuk mencari keredhaan Allah swt. Berdiri di landasan yang benar, dan insyaAllah hidup kau takkan terumbang ambing bak sampan dilambung ombak.

PEACE YAW!

Assalamualaikum

I guess I'm getting used to the new environment here. I can handle it. Yes, I can. Bila baca balik message message dulu, rasa macam advice mereka itu betul. Apsal dulu aku bajet macam diorang tak faham aku? Haha. Mungkinkah aku dah dewasa harini? Baru nak mencapai tahap intellect yang baru kot. Ekeke. But my one and only problem now is I am drifting away from the correct path and I don't know where I am heading to. And I am trying to get back on track. Sama sama lah kita doakan kejayaan aku untuk kembali ke pangkal jalan. Ameen :)

We don't live for ourselves.

Assalamualaikum

Nothing in the nature lives for itself.
Rivers don't drink their own water.
Trees don't eat their own fruit.
Sun doesn't give heat for itself.
Moon doesn't ever go on honeymoon.
Flowers don't spread fragrance for themselves.

Moral : Living for others is the rule of nature. Lets be humble and helpful to others :)

I Hate College t-.-t

Saturday, April 16, 2011

Assalamualaikum

It's SATURDAY !
Okay lagi a few hours aku akan blah dari rumah pergi Arau. Yes, where my heart belongs *as long as my besties are there*. But seriously, Arau feels like home. :) We *me and kanak kanak 39* are going to do barbecue there and today is Adli's birthday. Yayyy! I'm going to throw him into the lake. Ekeke.

Tengah excited fikir pasal Arau, 39, dan barbecue, suddenly something struck into my head and phewww, there goes my mood, flying and fading through the air. Grrr, on Sunday I have to go back to KL and start my new semester -.- I hate my college. Like seriously I hate it. I never thought that I could ever hate a college this much. I am usually an easy going person. But yeah, I HATE my college. Like so goddamned much.

Speaking about my college, it sucks. Even suck when I tend to compare it with UiTM. Okay, my bad -.- but I can't help not to. So, I look from the positive or brighter side; and I decided to study full-hearted and get my diploma as soon as possible. Maybe the reason why this college sucks is to make me study *which I never did*. Yeah, sure. Positive Iffa, positive -.-

squawksquawksquawk *sorry I don't mean to curse*

We are Winners :)

Friday, April 15, 2011

Assalamualaikum

Winners take chances like everyone else.
They fear failing, but they refuse to let fear control them.

Winners don't give up.
When life gets tough, they hang in until the going gets better.

Winners are flexible.
They realise there is more than one way and they are willing to try others.

Winners know they are not perfect.
They respect their weaknesses while making the most of their strengths.

Winners fall, but they don't stay down.
They stubbornly refuse to let a fall keep them from climbing.

Winners are positive thinkers who see good in all things.
From the ordinary, they make the extraordinary.

Winners believe in the path they have chosen even when it's hard.
Even when others can't see where they are going.

Winners are patient.
They know a goal is only as worthy as the effort that's requires to achieve it.

Winners are people like YOU.
They make this world a better place to be.

This Too Shall Pass

Assalamualaikum

Once a king called upon all of his wise men and asked them, "Is there a mantra or suggestion which works in every situation, in every circumstances, in every place and in every time. In every joy, every sorrow, every defeat and every victory? One answer for all questions? Something which can help me when none of you is available to advise me? Tell me is there any mantra?"

All the wise men were puzzled by the King's question. They thought and thought. After a lengthy discussion, an old man suggested something which appealed to all of them. They went to the king and gave him something written on paper, with a condition that the king was not to see it out of curiosity. Only in extreme danger, when the King finds himself alone and there seems to be no way, only then he can see it. The King put the paper under his diamond ring.

Some time later, the neighbors attacked the Kingdom. King and his army fought bravely but lost the battle. The King had to flee on his horse. The enemies were following him, getting closer and closer. Suddenly the King found himself standing at the end of the road - that road was not going anywhere. Underneath there was a rocky valley thousand feet deep. If he jumped into it, he would be finished. And he could not return because it was a small road. The sound of enemy's horses was approaching fast. The King became restless. There seemed to be no way.

Then suddenly he saw the diamond in his ring shining in the sun, and he remembered the message hidden in the ring. He opened the diamond and read the message. The message was - "THIS TOO SHALL PASS"

The King read it. Again read it. Suddenly something struck him - Yes! This too will pass. Only a few days ago, I was enjoying my kingdom. I was the mightiest of all the Kings. Yet today, the Kingdom and all his pleasures have gone. I am here trying to escape from enemies. Like those days of luxuries have gone, this day of danger too will pass. A calm came on his face. He kept standing there. The place where he was standing was full of natural beauty. He had never known that such a beautiful place was also a part of his Kingdom.

The revelation of the message had a great effect on him. He relaxed and forgot about those following him. After a few minutes he realized that the noise of the horses and the enemy coming was receding. They moved into some other part of the mountains and were near him.

The King was very brave. He reorganized his army and fought again. He defeated the enemy and regained his empire. When he returned to his empire after victory, he was received with much fanfare. The whole capital was rejoicing in the victory. Everyone was in a festive mood. Flowers were being showered on King from every houses, from every corner. People were dancing and singing. For a moment the King said to himself, "I am one of the bravest and greatest King. It is not easy to defeat me." With all the reception and celebration, he saw an ego emerging in him.

Suddenly the diamond of his ring flashed in the sunlight and reminded him of the message. He open it and read it again: "THIS TOO SHALL PASS". He became silent. His face went through a total change - from the egoist he moved to a state of utter humbleness. If this too is going to pass, it is not yours. The defeat was not yours, the victory is not yours. You are just a watcher. Everything passes by. We are witnesses of all this. We are the perceivers. Life comes and goes. Happiness comes and goes. Sorrow comes and goes.

Now as you have read this story, let just sit silently and evaluate your own life. This too will pass. Think of the moments of joy and victory in your life. Think of the moment of sorrow and defeat. Are they permanent? They all come and pass away.

Life just passes away. There is nothing permanent in this world. Everything changes except the law of change. Think over it from your own perspective. You have seen all the changes. You have survived all the setbacks, all defeats and all sorrows. All have passed away. The problems in the present, they too will pass away. Because nothing remains forever. Joy and sorrows are the two faces of the same coin. They both will pass away.

You are just a witness of change. Experience it, understand it, and enjoy the present moment - this too shall pass.

Our Four Wives

Assalamualaikum

Once upon a time, there was a rich King who had 4 wives ;

He loved the 4th wife the most and adorned her with rich robes and treated her to the finest delicacies. He gave her nothing but the best.

He also loved the 3rd wife very much and was always showing her off to neighboring kingdoms. However, he feared that one day she would leave him for another.

He also loved his 2nd wife. She was his confidante and was always kind, considerate and patient with him. Whenever the King faced a problem, he could confide in her to help him get through the difficult times.

The King's 1st wife was a very loyal partner and had made great contributions in maintaining his wealth and kingdom. However, he did not love the first wife and although she loved him deeply, he hardly took notice of her.

One day, the King fell ill and he knew his time was short. He thought of his luxurious life and pondered, "I now have 4 wives with me, but when I die, I'll be all alone.

Thus, he asked the 4th wife, "I have loved you the most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?" "No way!" replied the 4th wife and she walked away without another word. Her answer cut like a sharp knife right into his heart.

The sad King then asked the 3rd wife, "I have loved you all my life. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?" "No!" replied the 3rd wife. "Life is too good! When you die, I'm going to remarry!" His heart sank and turned cold.

He then asked the 2nd wife, "I have always turned to you for your help and you've always been there for me. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?" "I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time!" replied the 2nd wife. "At the very most, I can only send you to your grave". Her answer came out like a bolt of thunder and the King was devastated.

Then a voice called out : "I'll leave with you and follow you no matter you go." The King looked up and there was his first wife. She was so skinny, suffered from malnutrition. Greatly grieved, the King said, "I should have taken much better care of you when I had the chance!"

In truth, we all have 4 wives in our lives.

Our 4th wife is our body. No matter how much time and effort we lavish in making it look good, it'll leave us when we die.
Our 3rd wife is our possessions, status, and wealth. When we die, it will all go to others.
Our 2nd wife is our family and friends. No matter how much they have been there for us. the furthest they can stay by us is up to the grave.
And our 1st wife is our Soul, often neglected in pursuit of wealth, power and pleasures of the ego.

However, our Soul is the only thing that will follow us wherever we go. So cultivate, strengthen and cherish it now! It is your greatest gift to offer the world. Let it shine!

The 90/10 principle :D

Assalamualaikum

Discover the 90/10 Principle - It will change your life -at least the way you react to situations-

What is the principle?
10% of life is made up of what happens to you.
90% of life us decided by how you react.

What does this mean?
We really have no control over 10% of what happens to us. We cannot stop the car from breaking down. The plane will be late arriving, which throws our whole schedule off. A driver may cut us off in traffic.
We have NO control over this 10%. But the other 90% is different. You determine the other 90%.

How?
By your reaction. You cannot control a red light. But you can control your reaction. Don't let people fool you, you can control how you react.

Let use an example.
You are eating breakfast with your family. Your daughter knocks over a cup of coffee onto your business shirt. You have no control over what just happened.

What happens next will be determined by how you react;

You curse. You harshly scold your daughter for knocking the cup over. She breaks down in tears. After scolding her, you turn to your spouse and criticize her for placing the cup too close to the edge of the table. A short verbal battle follows. You storm upstairs and change your shirt. Back downstairs, you find your daughter has been too busy crying to finish breakfast and get ready for school. She misses the bus. Your spouse must leave immediately for work. You rush to the car and drive your daughter to school. Because you are late, you drive 40 miles an hour in a 30mph speed limit. After a 15 minutes delay and throwing $60 traffic fine away, you arrive at school. Your daughter runs into the building without saying goodbye. After arriving at the office 20 minutes late, you find you forgot your briefcase. Your day has started terrible. As it continues, it seems to get worse and worse. You look forward to coming home. When you arrive home, you find small wedge in your relationship with your spouse and daughter.
Why? Because of how you reacted in the morning.

Why did you have a bad day?
A) Did the coffee cause it?
B) Did your daughter cause it?
C) Did the policeman cause it?
D) Did you cause it?

The answer is D.
You had no control over what happened with the coffee. How you reacted in those 5 seconds is what caused your bad day.

Here is what could have and should have happened;

Coffee splashed over you. Your daughter is about to cry. You gently say, "It's okay honey, you just need to be more careful next time". Grabbing a towel you rush upstairs. After grabbing a new shirt and your briefcase, you come back down in time to look through the window and see your child getting on the bus. She turns and waves. You arrive 5 minutes early and cheerfully greet the staff. Your boss comments on how good the day you are having.

Notice the difference?
Two difference scenarios. Both started the same. Both ended different.

Why?
Because of how you REACTED.
You really do not have any control over 10% of what happens. The other 90% was determined by your reaction.

Here are some ways to apply the 90/10 principle.
If someone says something negative about you, don't be a sponge. Let the attack roll off like water on glass. You don't have to let the negative comment affect you. React properly and it will not ruin your day. A wrong reaction could result in losing friend, being fired, getting stressed out, etc.
How do you react if someone cuts you off in traffic? Do you lose your temper? Pound on the steering wheel? Do you curse? Does your blood pressure skyrocket? Do you try and bump them? WHO CARES if you arrive ten seconds later at work? Why let the cars ruin your drive?

Remember the 90/10 principle, and do not worry about it.
You are told you lost your job. Why lose sleep and get irritated? It will work out. Use your worrying energy and time into finding another job.
The plane is late; it is going to mangle your schedule for the day. Why get stressed out? It will just make things worse. Use your time to study, get to know the other passenger. Why get stressed out? It will just make things worse.

Now you know the 90/10 principle. Apply it and you will be amazed at the results. You will lose nothing if you try it. The 90/10 principle is incredible. Very few know and apply this principle.

The result?
Millions of people are suffering from undeserved stress, trials, problems and heartache. We all must understand and apply the 90/10 principle. It can change your life!

Shake it off and take a step up ! :D

Thursday, April 14, 2011

Assalamualaikum

One day, a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally he decided the animal was old and the well needed to be covered up anyway, it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey. He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement, he quieted down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well and was astonished at what he saw. With every shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing! He would shake it off and take a step up. As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and trotted off.

Moral : Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it  off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, and never giving up !
